I believe that all people have the ability to acknowledge the power of their choices and begin to use their voice to overcome their own unique challenges. My counseling style is caring and sensitive to your individual or family needs. I emphasize therapy as a collaborative process between the client and counselor.
I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including, depression, anxiety, complex trauma, PTSD, relationship conflicts, and parenting related issues. My approach integrates CBT, Person-centered, Solution-focused, Reality therapy, EMDR, and Mindfullness methdos to stregthen the connection between mind and body.
I am an affirming therapist who believes in treating everyone with respect, empathy, and compassion, with a neutral perspective of helping and empowering you to be able to create change that is long lasting and lifelong. I am here to assist you take the steps to create a more fulfilling and happier life that encourages positive growth.
I graduated with a bachelor's in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Human Services from Colorado Technical University and a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health counseling from Mid-America Christian University.
I am a mother, grandmother and dog mom. My passions include traveling, playing pool, and spending time with my family and friends.
