About Mike
I believe in focusing on an individual’s inherent strengths. I strive to empower personal growth and confidence in those I serve. Experience has demonstrated nurturing the therapeutic alliance is essential in developing the client’s self-efficacy.
I have been blessed to serve in the helping profession for the past 20 years in an array of environments. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). I graduated with a Masters in Human Relations Counseling from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters in Criminal Justice Management and Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. I primarily use client-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, and interactive solution focused approaches with clientele. I specialize working with anxiety spectrum disorders, substance abuse disorders, marital/couples therapy, anger/stress management, male specific issues, and those with a history of criminal justice involvement.
